For new Olark users:
- Create an Olark account
For existing Olark Users:
- Open the the Olark admin dashbord
- Go to the "Operators" tab and follow the steps to connect your Chat program of choice
- Switch to the "Install" tab (http://www.olark.com/install)
- Find the Olark Site ID (xxxx-xxx-xx-xxxx)
- Open the App.net Landing Page Editor
- Switch to the "Modules" Tab and scroll down to the Olark module details
- Copy & paste the Site ID into the field "Site ID"
- Save your changes
- You should now see a module on your App's landing page that enables users to initiate a chat with you.
- You can customize the widget on the Olark website (http://www.olark.com/customize_appearance)
Note: It can take up to 5 minutes for changes on your Landing Page to take effect.
