The Developer Incentive Program (DIP) was created to encourage the development of new and interesting App.net applications by providing financial rewards and ongoing user feedback to developers.
Each month, enrolled developers will earn a percentage of a fixed incentive pool (currently $30,000 effective March of 2013) based on the actual usage and adoption of their apps, as well as customer feedback collected by App.net. The program is entirely optional and only developers who enroll in the program are eligible.
